Boch Medical Center

A Better Health Together

At Boch Medical Center, our mission is to build better health for rural Uganda, together. Located in the Wajinja village of Kampala, Uganda, Boch Medical Center is here to serve all who enter its doors with exceptional care and modern medicine.

 About Us:

On a 2015 trip with National Geographic, American business leader and philanthropist Ernie Boch Jr. found himself living the daily life of a typical resident of the rural village of Wajinja. His goal was to find critical needs in the community and implement positive changes, ultimately building a school, latrines, and bringing clean, running water to the people of the Ugandan village.

After completing this indispensable infrastructure, Boch took note of a lack of access to healthcare for the surrounding rural villages. In 2021, Boch built the Boch Medical Center to expand the village’s access quality care and treatment – bringing modern, Western medicine to those who need it most. Boch Medical Center was officially opened by Her Highness Nagginda Sylvia Nnabagereka of Buganda on December 8, 2021.
